Orchid Cafe has great costumer service . I love the set us it feels very welcoming! Every time I order it's always 5 stars I have never had a bad food order. This restaurant never messes up my orders and over all my favorite restaurant ever!!!!!
Love this place!!!! Everything you order is delicious even the drinks. I found this place Doordashing in the Troy area!! Had to get an iced tea when I seen it was ORANGE, plus I'm going thru a chai tea phase right now and I wish I could make this!!!
They really go out of their way to accommodate gluten free. The food is very good and they are generous with their portions. I am so happy they got new style containers; no more styrofoam!
Food was okay except the scallops in the seafood curry were borderline rotten. It hurt to not eat them because I love scallops and it was a birthday treat. But service was good and the complimentary coconut ice cream was appreciated.

This family is crushing it here. My friend told me the story behind the restaurant/ new owners and I'm impressed. So friendly here. This place was busy for lunch. They give you complimentary shrimp chips and Thai hot & sour soup. Delicious. The chicken in both plates....so tender. Next time I would get mild+, no spice but sooo good. I will be back to check out the Pad Thai & shrimp dishes.
Their hot and sour soup is different from almost any other hot and sour soup I've come across before. It's lighter in color and less vinegary and is spiced perfectly (not just heat-wise but the flavor is slightly different from others). It tastes so good. It's my favorite and has been since I used to go to their other location on Rochester road (which I think isn't there any more) many years ago. I drive out of my way just for the hot and sour soup. It's so good to me that I've never tried their Tom yum soup so I can't review that. Their other dishes are very flavorful and delicious. Their prices are reasonable as well. There is only one other Thai restaurant in metro Detroit that has food which I would rate higher but only by just a tiny tiny bit. Orchid Cafe still gets 5 stars from me. Orchid Cafe is one of the best Thai restaurants in metro Detroit and I've never had a bad experience here.
I dined in for the first time and was not disappointed. Delicious food as always and prompt service!
